I’m not just a business coach.

I’m a practising therapist, former salon owner, an accredited coach and mentor with more than 15 years of industry experience.

​

I’ve managed my own salon with a team, experienced the pressures of running a solo treatment business and rebuilt my own business from scratch after losing everything and relocating to a new county.

​

That journey taught me the hard lessons of business, resilience and strategy.

​

Now I use that experience to help other therapists avoid the same struggles and build businesses that support the life they actually want.

Mystery Shopper FAQ's

What exactly is a mystery shopper visit?
A mystery shopper visit allows me to experience your business exactly as a client would. I move through your entire client journey from booking through to follow-up, observing and assessing each stage. After the visit you receive a detailed report highlighting strengths, opportunities for improvement and practical recommendations.

Will my team know you are the mystery shopper?
No. The visit is carried out exactly like a normal client appointment so that the experience reflects what your clients genuinely receive day to day.

​

Is this about catching my team out?
Not at all. The aim is to evaluate systems, standards and the overall client experience, not to criticise individuals. The insights gained help you identify where training, processes or communication may need strengthening.

Who chooses the treatment or therapist?
That is completely up to you. If there is a particular treatment, therapist or part of the client journey you would like assessed, you can specify this in advance. Alternatively, I can choose the treatment in the same way a typical client would, selecting from your treatment menu and booking system to experience the journey as naturally as possible.

What businesses is this suitable for?
This service is ideal for salons, spas, clinics and wellness businesses that want to maintain high service standards, improve the client journey and identify opportunities to increase client retention and revenue.

Will my staff find out about the report?
The report is shared directly with the business owner or manager. You can then decide how you would like to use the information with your team.

How long does the process take?
The visit takes place as a normal appointment. Your report is usually delivered within a few days once the full journey has been completed, including any follow-up communication from the business.

Can you visit more than once?
Yes. Some businesses choose to schedule mystery visits periodically to monitor standards, track improvements and ensure consistency across the client journey.

What if my business performs really well?
That is great news. The report will highlight what you are doing well so you can reinforce those strengths and maintain your standards as your business grows.

Why would I want a mystery shopper in my business?

Because it is almost impossible to see your own business the way a client does. A mystery visit gives you an honest, independent view of the experience you are delivering and highlights opportunities you may never see from the inside.
